Power bill? I have an electric heater computer rack (less peak power than a conventional electric heater) for the 2 car garage. It get's cold here. In the summer I use solar power to keep the critical system UPS charged. The computer rack is the primary load for my solar energy bank.

Upgrading the server farm/cooling off-grid system with another 800W of panels. Ground testing 4 panels before being mounted.



Now I need to upgrade the 12vdc backbone to a much larger gauge wire. The losses are horrible.

After 5 years it's time to refresh the main server rack redundant UPS system battery. For servers with redundant power supplies there are individual UPS systems for each power supply. All other networking and systems on the rack are powered from one or the other UPS for load leveling.
This guy is online with the full load while the other UPS is getting serviced with new batteries and cooling fans.
