Iperf server on the backup 10G server. Three 1G clients running network throughput iperf. The dropped packets/Errors were from me messing with the network before, not this test.

I need at least one more 10G server on the switch to check the disk end to end throughput between machines. I could use the other port for single machine loop testing but that's not a realistic workload test.

You're 30% there. Interested in seeing the final result

I remember the days when the digital machines had BATTLE SHORT switches.

We lock the circuit breakers and bolt the doors, and nobody can get in or out.

Is that like keep firing even though the barrels are melting?
On our stuff, battle-shorts were usually for over-temp and main power. If external power was maintained in short-mode the machine would run until something 'melted'. Never had something melt but the over-temp would try to trip when we lost cooling air at 110+F at the gulf in GONZO station.

OS load and disk space configuration.

Fully loaded example, I don't need this much storage but it is expandable.

What's your power bill look like?
Power bill? I have an electric heater computer rack (less peak power than a conventional electric heater) for the 2 car garage. It get's cold here. In the summer I use solar power to keep the critical system UPS charged. The computer rack is the primary load for my solar energy bank.

Completed the 10G hone networking upgrade from the fiber ONT 10G port provisioned for 2G internet to the 10G firewall and 10G internal machines.

Typical workstation speedtest. You get 2G internet speeds but lots of sites quickly throttle that down to ~1G max.
