I hope you guys are happy . The "spring" we got was more like autumn with 1000% more hail than usual. Don't get me started about the "summer" we had. Even though the name of the island is Iceland this was absurd. I had to wear my winter coat at least a fraction of an every working day this summer. Some days the whole day while being outside.

But hey I still got tanned from the one good day of summer.

On a more serious note stay hydrated well fed and safe.

One word: apocalyptic

 

Nasty hot! Heat index doesn't go below 90F until 11 PM, and then it's unlawful to mow the lawn. The first legal moment in the morning is 7 AM. At that time, the heat index is passing 90 in less than 30 minutes and the grass is still wet with dew.

Why am I complaining? I hired 5 different companies to mow my lawn in the last 1 year.

And every one of them simply quit showing up.
I guess Dog wants me to get the exercise.

 

It's 87f at Nissan Stadium. There was no lightning, no rain, and the Vols are about to finish off BGSU.

ETA: Vols won 59 to 30, but pass defense was very poor, especially DB Moseley.

 

This looks be the last 90 degree weather of this year this weekend. Planning an outdoor party with a fire-pit so the kids in the neighborhood can roast marshmallows and hot-dogs while we adults have a few drinks. It's been a good summer and I'm totally looking forward to winter.
