How's the weather?

Give us an update of things where you are now.
Just finished a 3 mile run. No rain. Winds about 5 mph. I expect to be driving to work in the morning.

There will be no impact here.

The dry air I talked about many posts ago is getting sucked up into the storm. This is helping keep weather to the south mild.

Wow ... I've never seen anyone rebuild their community so quickly after a catastrophe of such magnitude!
Yeah.

I didn't say anything before, because there is always a chance the worst case could happen, but there is a reason some of us Floridians are so nonchalant about approaching hurricanes: we are sick and tired of fear porn.

This storm will have turned out to be much ado about nothing. Yes, there is some wind damage around Tampa. Yes, there were some tornadoes (even around my area). Yes, there was some storm surge south of the eye, and quite a bit of rain to the north.

But this was nothing we haven't experienced many times in the past.

And this was definitely not the catastrophe the CAGW warriors were hoping for.

Better luck next year.

It’s good to hear that you’re safe. Others were not so fortunate.
There are always injuries and deaths in natural disasters like this.

Luckily, climate related deaths have dropped precipitously as carbon dioxide levels have increased.

Thank God for global warming and all the lives it has saved.

Yep, Uncle Milty was a real comedian... All bluff and very little bash! Relatives in Orlando and Melbourne reporting the same as Joey.

it is approaching zero, we better do something about it.... once it crosses dead will begin to rise...
They're on it.

The CAGW warriors are doing everything they can to ensure that the greatest number of people possible freeze to death in future winter storms.

It has a lot to do with ocean water temps which are falling but still warmer in the Gulf. Here, the water temp is down to below 80°F already.
