I hate false springs. Makes the plants start to bloom then bam! Another freeze and it kills all the buds. Hurts the trees. We've had a few false spring days. Woke the fish in the pond. Actually, the pond never froze over all winter. There was some ice forming, but not much. Just a little above the aerator stone.

Here in Boston, we were over 70s a couple days ago. Today, the day started off in the high 40s, followed by snow squalls in the afternoon, the sun returned but it was in the 30s. Wind chill below zero forecast for tomorrow morning.

Colorado, just below freezing for a high. Two feet of very wet snow. Blowing hard with snow for two days. Some drifts are 3 feet deep. Power has been about 50% off. It is a long trip to the road so we might not make it out Monday morning.
GMC Suburban, left side sticking out. Basket ball hoop. Back by the barn, there is a green house with two more SUV under the snow.

It's very bright and sunny today, +20С. I am even planning to take sun bath today on a terrace of my property in Spain after lunch. Spring is here for sure!

I remember having 3' of fresh powder snow on Easter in Maine. Whole 'nother world down here in Coastal GA at Easter. Down from the 90s F to only in the 80s this week.

Weather is all over the place. Police dont know how to drive in our conditions... Last year it was an ambulance that flipped.

It has been a rough and stormy winter. Many roofs did not survive (including mine)Screenshot_2021-03-12-12-21-26.png

I honestly hope that the damage to your roof did not cause a complete catastrophe inside your home ...
No nothing so bad. It was flagged to be replaced when I bought the house 5 years ago and I have been delaying as there were other issues to resolve also. Cannot delay replacement any longer without facing consequences next winter. Unfortunately it is hard to get any contractors in and if you do get someone you are robbed blind so it increasingly looks like a DIY project for the summer.

2 houses across from me have been using tarp for protection since december. This is in an area where you get 300 mm of rain a month with weekly winter storms

As we say down here... we're expecting very stable weather this week: consistently screwed up every single day :D
Here it’s if you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes. One time l was literally at a Red light my side of the light was sunny and on the other side was snowing.

It was freaky.
