How's the weather?

We are currently experiencing our fifth season of the year, officially known as FU (make that of what you will).

There is no set time of year nor duration, it could be a day to a month in length and happen at any time of year, multiple times. Best described as the weather trying to kill you by fire tornadoes or house fires in the middle of a flood or ants.

Today is really cold weather, because winter is soon in my country. So, I would like to use ducted air conditioning system. Recently guys from service center in Auckland like here installed it in my house. A ducting system, also known as central heating, blows heated or cooled air throughout your home through discreetly installed grill vents.
Forced air central heating/cooling is very common in the U.S. But you can find many other systems as well, including radiant heating using electrical wires in the floor, water (or glycol) circulation, steam, and so on.

After moving to my current house, I was happily impressed by the effectiveness of the heating system (warm - not even hot - water circulation). With temperatures of around 5º C outside, it becomes warm in about two hours.

The secret seems small, but many, radiators. The guy who build this, calculated things very carefully.

Up to a foot of blowing snow in the next 24 hours expected here (northern Illinois) tomorrow. Two inches per hour at times.
Holy crap! Keep it down there near the lake will you? I don't want to have to fire up the snow blower just yet. ;)

I don't recall seeing snow for us in the long term If it is coming east hopefully it will go south of us as it often does (knock on wood). Seems to happen a lot with both bad winter storms and summer storms. I read an article, something about the air flow over the Appalachians that keeps us out of deep weather do do.

Central Utah 29˚F feels like 22˚F low tonight 10˚F I chose to work Saturday unaware we would get hit with snow didn't stop until 2-3pm yesterday.

Just long enough for me to remove my Brake Booster luckily I have today off, hoping to remove more stuff out of storage to my Dads place. I'm tired of paying for storage, I think it's insanity to rent storage rather than just getting rid of stuff you don't use, tools yes but stuff no.

Edit: The snow is affecting my internet connection, I had to setup a hotspot to post this, not looking forward to work on my Truck.

We have not quite 13 inches and it just now tapered off. Roanoke VA. Been snowing since 3 am. Have family in Winston-Salem, they have 11.5 in.

It was a fine(small flake), but wet snow here.

There was 10-15C° here in the capital at the start of a new year.

It was about the same average temp last summer(which sucked temperature wise) just different in sunlight...

Oh there be low pressure on their way like they own the place.
