How to wire a 3 pins IR receiver with NPN/PNP transistor

I am surprised. On my scheme, only 4 components. What is in the dotted square with an internal transistor is your receiver. A capacitor and a field effect transistor are added. A diode is also required. This diode is required when using an electric motor. My inductance is an imitation of an electric motor. The motor always has an inductive characteristic. Because of this property, an additional diode is needed. A simpler circuit that performs the necessary function cannot be.

Dear Bordodynov,

I will try later, just I don't have such component at this moment. Many thanks for your scheme.

Field effect transistor and diode may be different. But there is one moment. The remote sends a burst of pulses. If you apply a bipolar transistor, the LED will blink, but the fan motor will not work

Press a remote, motor runs. Tried 2 small motors , one with propeller. max 70 mA. Replaced motor with 7.5 ohm R, output 4.5 v, Vcc 5V. Need higher rated PNP than MPS2907 for 800mA start current.
Sensor used-TFM5368, output rectified with 1N4148, filter 4.7 uF, discharge -100k feeding 2N3906 emitter follower which goes to base via 27 ohm R of MPS2907. Motor collector & ground. Out of time.

Dear Bernard,

It sounds good but I can't follow it, may I have the circuit diagram?

Dear Bordodynov,

Got your meaning, I just think if there is voltage feed into the base then the transistor works, I don't need to press and release the button and the fan can continue to work. Just press then turn on and release then off is fine enough. It just for fun. Next I will forward to handle the signal using Arduino and clearly provide voltage to the base.

Kelvin. I am disappointed. You do not understand me.
Bernard.
Look at my diagram. The rectifier is an internal transistor loaded on a 30kΩ resistor. For detection (rectification) it is enough to add a capacitor. I do not need a rectifier in the form of a diode .. In my mind, the transistor can produce 2mA.

Dear Bordodynov,

Sorry for my limited knowledge to the circuit. Not I don't believe your scheme, just I don't have the components and I don't know what the L1 is, the capacitor C1 is also new to me. Honestly, I many thanks for all the suggestions, some of the concepts I don't understand but I still want to try different scheme, please allow me some time to test.

Well, this is different. Lost my scan program & looking for alternate method.
Bordodynov, post # 15, yes, your ckt. is about as simple as can be if a LL Pch. FET
were available to OP. & I have one, FDS9435A.

Virtually none of that has anything to do with the receiver in question. It demodulates data transmitted by infrared.

Unless you are the author of the posted text, you are expected to cite the source.
Yes I agree.

Kelvin, your problem is that the IR receiver gets a coded message from the remote. Each button outputs a different sequence of pulses at 36,000 Hz or there abouts, a bit like Morse code. If you hold the button it will mostly keep repeating the sequence. When you look at the LED video you will see it flickering. That is the coded sequence the remote is sending.

You IR receiver outputs on and off as the coded sequence is received. It does not stay on all the time the button is pressed.

That means your task is more difficult than you hoped.
