how to run third party MCP6001 LT spice models in LT spice

hi al,
Either place the MCP6001.txt file in the same folder as your asc file or in your C:\Program Files\LTC\LTspiceIV\lib\sub folder.
Note your LTC folder tree may be different, but target the sub folder.

The factory model of this opamp is poorly suited for LTspice.
I made a correction for this model.

after downloading this i kept this MCP6001.lib file in
C:\Users\LOAKESH\Documents\LTspiceXVII\lib\sub
but how to add this to spice directory in software

i got error as couldnot open library file".lib MCP6001.lib

i want to give the out out from a tripot ranging from 0.001 to 0.132v to opamp MCP6001 and see how the gain varying

please i ran directly the draft given by you even though it is not working

Yes, for this I did a special folder. Unzip it and click on the schematic file.

Unpack my file in a place that has nothing to do with LTspice.
Work only in this folder. If this does not help, then you spoiled some system file. I prepared the file as I was preparing about a hundred projects. I checked the folder using LTspiceIV and LTspiceXVII. Everything is working. Take my file and unpack it to another machine and check. You did something not good with your LTspice.
You may need to reinstall the LTspice.
