I'm building a custom DP converter but need to power via DP. How is one supposed to power the device when DP cables are inherently lacking pin 20 (DP_PWR) connection?

This is for driving a custom HDR converter. Just need to be able to supply power over DP cable and needs mini DP on one end. I hear a lot of rumors about finding "bad" cables that have pin 20 connection but I can't find any that are intentionally built this way. FYI these are referred to as "bad" because they will cause power conflicts between source and sink but it's exactly what I need.
