Hello, I want to fix these Christmas wires by resoldering the cut wires to the micro controller but no clue which wire goes to each point. I tried looking for a wiring diagram for this EK-04 micro controller but I am not confused so appreciate any help. Cheers

 

Unless you are lucky enough someone on here has the same controller your best bet is to find another and match things up. Do you have a link to the actual product?

 

I would take it apart and see how it works, it's much easier, post pictures of the inside.
Is it AC mains ...

 

This is the basic internal circuitry.



Two terminals are marked A and C for your AC LINE power connection.
+ supplies rectified power to all LED strings, anode side.
1, 2, 3, 4 are the cathode side of up to four LED strings.

 

Is there a way to know which cable is the anode or cathode side. I had a look inside and the reference is JX-15-2, I would expect to have 4 wires left out for 2 LEDs ( 2 anode and 2 cathode) but I have 5 wires left out.
