You know how to do a Google search, don't you? Just google the phrase, "how to download visual c++" and explore what comes up. Simple.

The error message is telling you exactly what is wrong and what to do about it. So, go do it.

The Visual C++ Redistributable is only a library that C++ programs developed with Visual Studio can use. By itself it is useless to you. Visual C++ is a commercial product that you have to pay for to get the latest version. There may be evaluation versions of previous releases out there so you need to keep looking for what you want. I would google:

    "Free Visual Studio downloads"

You are at a point where you can spend the time to start learning on your own by trying to follow some "getting started" tutorials. Here is one. If you get stuck, spend the time to try and get unstuck before asking for help. Demonstrating that, members here will probably be happy to try and help. Failing that, you can't expect members here to be your personal coach. Right?

I am still stuck on deciphering what that supposed to tell me. Obviously something is free. But what is free still eludes me.

Am I correct in guessing that OP is not a native English speaker?
