I would like to bias a semiconductor detector with 500V voltage.
I saw on other papers people usually use a RC network to apply the high voltage(the HV path).
May I ask how to choose the capacitor, both capacitance and material? Can I build the circuit on a universal board, can it bear this high voltage?
