how to convert AC device to run on Battery?

I agree but like I said, just looking into all possibilities to make it totally wireless so this way I can be sitting at any distance away from my rig and not be limited to have to sit right in front of it,

i signed up on this forum just to respond to this haha! Idk why everyone is making it so complicated. All you need is a big battery pack like the 20,000+ mah anker ones. Personally I got an Onn branded one from Walmart.
Make sure it has a USB C port, then get a USB C PD 9V cable. It’s very important it says PD (power delivery) and the proper voltage, as they make them to deliver 5v, 9v, 12v, 18v, & 20v. Also you’ll need to check the polarity of your DC input jack on the Kaoss pad. Use a multimeter to check polarity. If the center is negative on the device, you will most likely need a polarity reversal adapter as most USB C PD to dc cables will have a positive center. I use this method to power a zoom multifx guitar pedal which also runs on 9v DC, however in my case it is a 500ma device.
