I have an LED 18650 type flashlight that has 3 settings, blinking, high and low. Each press of the button goes to the next mode.

I just want on or off on high. Has anyone been able to convert theirs?

 

Sorry. It was designed to operate that way. It cannot be converted unless you rip the internals apart and install your own on/off switch and a current limiting resistor.
