hello,
I'm trying to calculate the battery life in terms of how longer my 10000mAh battery provide power to my device.
Anyone have an idea how to do the calculation?

my device drawing 150.076mA current in active mode. Device remain in active state for 4sec and then it goes in deep sleep mode for 56sec, in deep sleep mode it draws 0.0547mA current.

Any help would be appreciated
TIA

So ... in active mode , over the period of 1 minute it draws 150 x4 = 600 mA secs
.........in passive mode .............................................................0.055 x 56 = 3.8 mA secs

In one minute total consumption is 604 mA secs = 10mA mins ... this is the average drain 10mA

The battery is 10,000 mAHr ........... so run time is One Thousand Hrs = 40 DAYS

thank you for your answer:)

I have one more query, why there is need to convert mA secs in mA min?
sorry for very basic question but I'm confused for that so asked here

You gave the run time as 1 min 'in every 1 min active for 4 secs , passive 56 sec'

There are a number of ways the calculation could be done ... I needent have got into times , perhaps the best way is just to find the average consumption ....so four sixtieths of the time consumption is 150 mA .....and 56 sixtieths of the time consumption is 0.0055 mA ...

the consumption in sleep is so low ( less than 1% of total consumption) you can ignore it ...... so it's just 4/60 x 150 = 10 mA ....
