How can I make a loop antenna for HF with magnet wire?

I think embroidery hoops have thin rims, I don't think they can hold more than one few turns. Should that be enough?

They are about 0.25" wide and can hold several turns especially if you tack them down with some adhesive, Maybe a layer of double sided sticky tape.
