No that is not quite true. In USA they are quite hysterical about breasts. Then Janet Jackson in 2004 showed a nipple during the halftime show of super bowl finale. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) received received nearly 540,000 complaints from Americans. The same show was aired in Canada and the result was a mere 50 complaints. So it is big difference from country to country. In Scandinavia you may see breasts in serious newspapers now and then. Maybe not paparazzi pictures like the ones taken of Kate Middleton sunbathing topless. But a recently picture I can remember was of some girls having a demonstration against Putin. By showing the breasts. Maybe this would have been unseemly in your country , I do not know. However I can perfectly live without breasts in this little corner of internet. And I suspect the site owners will keep it that way.

That depended how I felt about having my entire life paid for on the countries dime and getting free castles. When your a celeb you must put up with that kinda stuff. Or GGW wouldn't be a huge multi million dollar company. The difference between sex in the west and east is in the west many things are taboo but socially acceptable. In the east many things are unacceptable in any country but they don't have the resources to stop it. Places like Asia, India, etc... come to mind.

 

I suspect most of us are very bemused by the strange obsession of not showing body parts on video, or even live. I am not a nudest, and I do enjoy looking at attractive people of the opposite sex (clothed or not), but way too much time is spent on the subject. It is basically a non issue. At least we don't have burka's.

I've got a question; Why do men like breasts? I love them, but not sure why. Outside of only the most creative acts of bedplay, they don't offer me any tangible pleasure like other parts of the female body. I think of people with foot fetishes as being weird; what about feet gets a person off? well, if everybody had a foot fetish then it would be pretty much the same thing as the common boob fetish. Nobody would question it or think weird of it, even though it's equally pointless.

Is it just the taboo aspect of it? Someone decided way back that boobs aren't to be gazed upon so women started covering them up, and once we weren't allowed to see them, it made us desire them?

I'm with Geo. Males are genetically programmed to seek healthy breeding partners. Boobs are part of the set of signals that show health and breeding capability.

Actually there are cultures that don't consider breasts taboo. We tend to forget that.

And even among "Western" civilizations Americans are among the most messed up on the subject.

The only cultures that don't have breast taboos are ones we consider primitive and are rather isolated from the rest of the world. Amazon and Polynesia tribes, to name a few.

 

Well coming from Greece you would probably know in some of the ancient Greek cultures (possibly the most advanced civilisation of the time) that is was common for women to show their breasts, they were prized and rich women especially would show their breasts in their best social event clothing. The island of Minoa(?) now thought to be the real location of Atlantis, has wall murals shwoing men and women in their best high social clothing, the women with bare and very "presented" breasts.

America seems to be going backwards. I see Hollywood movies from the 70's and 80's with topless women, everything from comedies to actions films etc. These days apart from very rare instances you never see a breast or a nipple, it's like some Victorian age BS where the love scenes in movies are all "from the shoulders up". A return to Victorian style BS? It's a joke.

In Australia if there's boobs in a movie nobody really cares, same as on a beach. The idea that a woman sunbathing on an American beach could actually be arrested and dragged off to a cell for taking her bikini top off just sounds totally bizarre to people from more grown up countries.
