Im new to this forum, so hopefully Im in the right place.
My MLX90640ESF-BAA-000-TU has horizontal legs. Is there a way to connect it to vertical through-put holes. Im aware of something like the: Samtec TSW-104-07-L-S however, that still will not do the trick. I trying to connect those legs 90 degrees to the throughput holes below it.

Or in all your expert opinions, I can re-design my PCB Board so it stands up right vertically. That way the throughput holes accept the a Samtec TSW-104-07-L-S. If course, I would have to add a throughput hole. I did include a little attachment to show what I mean by "the legs" and "90 degrees"

 

You could wrap insulated single strand hookup wire to each of the four legs at 90°.
