here is the problem about TIA

Hi , everybody!
i'm new here and also new to learn knowledges about electronics.
i'm trying to understand how TIA(transimpendace amplifier) work. here is the material i'm reading now. http://www.planetanalog.com/document.asp?doc_id=527534
but i'm blocked in the term "pole" .
what's the meaning of zero pole , how to calculate :
From the equation for F the pole for 1/F is (Equation 6):






And the zero for 1/F is (Equation 7):
