Ive got to use a microcontroller that works with MPLAB aswell as that is the software to be used.So was wondering if Picaxe would work with MPLAB?

Sorry, but I really don't know. I do know that a Picaxe can send and receive serial data though.

 

As far as I know, only PIC micrcontrollers work with MPLAB
