Sorry I am new to reading schematics. The extent of my knowledge is doing basic LED circuits. I just wanted to know if that was the one you had mentioned. I really don't even know what resistor values I am going to use.

It looks like the one, Maxim do at least one voltage threshold chip and there's various low battery/power on reset chips in TO92 or SMD that can be selected for your purpose.
