Help me understand how to read my multimeter. Here's what I've got:

Walwart type power supply: 12v - 1amp
Muffin style fan: 12V - .06amp
Multimeter set on 200m reads 66

How can I tell what the current in and what is the formula?

Thanx in advance.

A 12vdc fan of the PC variety is virtually imposible to tell current by Ohm meter as often internal electronics are used, brushless motor etc.
That current looks about right, if the manuf. states 0.06a and you read 66 (ma).
The current range is about the best way.
Max.
