Trying to install some bed lighting into my pickup truck, and I'd like to have a switch at the tailgate area, and also a switch in the front cab. I'm thinking I need to do a 3-way switch, kind of like in a home where you'd have a light switch at the top of your stairs and one at the bottom to be able to control it at either end.

I got 2 switches off of Amazon that I like, they are SPDT (Ulincos U19C2) latching type. They have a led in the switch, and if possible I would like for the switch to light up when the bed lights are on, this way if I'm in the cab and I see the switch lighted up I know I forgot to shut them off and I can hit the cab switch.

I need help with the wiring, I'm attempted to do this with a bunch of alligator clamps and a breadboard along with a benchtop power supply as best I could with the schematic it came with. I can seem to get it like halfway. My dilemma was that one switch would have to be on in order for the other to work.

I've attached a jpeg image of a rudimentary schematic layout. I'm asking for help on the wiring layout. Also in the attached pic are the specs for the switch, along with the colored pigtail and pic of the actual switch I'm using. If you think these are the wrong switches for this type of application let me know.

If you'd also prefer, here is the link for an edible version of the schematic you could draw in the wires.
Thank you so much!
