Hi,

I have a Proform Sport 7.0 treadmill with a mc2100els-18w-2y MCB.

Nothing happens when plugged in to a good source and powered on. Key is in.

When power is connected, the MCB red led comes on then fades to off within 30 seconds.

There is also nothing on the console/screen.

Would this require a MCB replacement?

Also worth noting the red LED that comes on before fading out appears very dim.

 

Is replacing the MCB likely to resolve the issue? I'm not sure how to narrow down what precisely is causing the issue. Grateful for your assistance @MaxHeadRoom

 

The LED should be on steady initially, then slow blink with signal, It sounds to me as the the low voltage DC may be fading off?

 

What voltage do you get on HD2 pin 1&2?

If you have a meter, Check the DC voltage first on HD1&2
Normally it is far easier to bench test/repair, but requires a 20Hz PWM signal into HD2-4 pin. in order to run the motor and trouble shoot the board.
