Hello Everyone,

I have bought a fan that works on AC current, 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz and 0.14 A. However, only two wires extend out of the unit, and given my very limited experience working with AC components, I have no idea how to power this fan. I live in the UK and I would like to power it through the mains, but I am open to other means. Please find pictures of the unit attached to the thread.
Many thanks for your time.

That fan is designed to work directly off of 240VAC mains.

Get an AC mains plug:

Connect the fan to the BLUE and BROWN wires from the cable.

This kind of fan have no metal exposed parts so you don't need to worry about grounding, and the fact that the manufacturer choose not to include the ground wire mean it isn't needed.
Instead you connect the two wire directly to mains, ignore the ground wire and the fan would work right away!
