i wanted to ask how can i know the minimum power an electronic device needs to be able to perform.

 

Generally here (UK) equipment has a rating plate which says what voltage and current the device needs but this will be a typical or maximum value.

When you say minimum do you mean like a TV with a low power standby mode?

The minimum for appliances to operate lets say tv rated at xWatts but can still work at (x/2)Watts,so i am asking is there is sort of a percentage tolerance i can look up to when i want to see the least it needs to power on
