Hi everyone,

I'm working on a personal PEMF device for my wife (who has CRPS) as commercial units are prohibitively expensive. I've completed the software development and designed the PEMF coils, but I need assistance with the electronics.

Specifically, I'm looking for help to:

  • Design a suitable coil driver circuit.
  • Integrate an ESP32 microcontroller into the PCB to control the coils.
I have all the coil specifications ready to share. I'm not an electronics engineer and have limited PCB/IC design knowledge, so any guidance or direct design help would be greatly appreciated to get this project built.

Thanks in advance for any support!"

Depending on the magnitude of the pulses, and the required pulse rate, (which I have no clues), that sounds a bit like the circuit for a Capacitor Discharge ignition system driver unit. Those systems produce a magnetic pulse in a step-up coil, so possibly the similar concept may match the capabilities.
SO at this point numbers will help describe what is needed.
