Hi to all. Please help me to choose one oscilloscope. I only need it to diagnose the car's alternator, various car sensors and the can network up to 5mhz. I'm having a hard time choosing. At least 2 channels. I have an analog Philips but it's too big to carry around

The can network up to 5mhz puts you in CAN-FD territory. The scopes for that are on the more expensive side of the scale.

CAN (option)
Trigger on start of frame, type of frame (data, remote, error, or overload), identifier, data, identifier and data, end of frame, missing ack, and bit stuff error on CAN buses up to 1 Mb/s, on CAN FD buses up to 16 Mb/s and on CAN XL buses up to 20 Mb/s.

When I say CAN diagnose I mean that I need to see the wave clear. Only to find the quality of the signal. then I have CAN sniffer to show node id and message.
