we have a design

we need to modify the ckt of thermostat this thermostat either be put in rice cooker or a heater.....please help me or idea what modification can we put in the thermostat ckts....please....we need it badly...

our prof suggest that we put a 7 segment display that will show the temp and the variable temp you set on your design but we don't know how to do that how can we place it in the thermostat ckt......we don't have a design for that.....Please help Us...thanks ! !!
