hello everyone,

i am looking for 500-600W DC/DC converter with CSA or UL approval.
input voltage 48V, output is 24V.

there is tons of solutions but not with mentioned approvals.
Vicor modules are approved but they don't have conventional terminations (lugs, terminal blocks, molded wires etc.) - solder connections or multi-contact terminals are not fit for this case.

Any suggestions?

Rebox it to allow those connections? Or mount to a small PCB so it can use your needed connectors?

 

well i could do that of course. even so, issue here also very long lead time of 16 weeks. i don't have 16 days, more like 1.6 days

 

TDK-Lambda is the only other manufacturer of "bricks" that comes to mind. I don't know if they produce anything that would suit your requirements.

Beware of deciding you can live with Vicor's terminals & going to a broker to beat long delivery times. Vicor has had quite a problem with counterfeits.

 

Methinks you will miss your deadline.

 

Check the DigiKey catalog, they offer a lot of modular power supplies and you can usually get next day delivery. They are not cheap but they are good.
