Hi All,
I have a strange problem I hope someone can help with.
We are installing a GVIF Multimedia interface that intercepts the video feed to an OE monitor. However, when we add our aftermarket cable inline with the factory harness the factory GPS reception is affected. Even if the module is bypassed and not installed we have the same problem. As soon as you take the GVIF connector out and return to factory GPS is instantly perfect again.
We have different types of leads from different manufacturers and some are better than others. But still GPS reception is affected.
Would appreciate any ideas on what in the GVIF cable could be causing the interference.
