Hello all!
I was installing an appliance a few days ago. The appliance manual told me to hook the ground wire around a certain green screw. The problem is that the ground wire broke and is falling short by about 6 inches.
Can I just take a copper wire and attach one side of it to the ground wire and the other side to the green screw?
If yes, what gauge, material, kind of wire should I use?
I live in the US.
Thanks for the replies!
