I recently got into building LiFePO4 packs for golf carts and I was asked if Capacitors could be used to keep the cheaper amazon packs BMS (100A) from tripping under hard acceleration( 150 A+). Is this something even feasible. It's outside of the scope of the EE I work with and I don't know where to start

 

A capacitor might be useful if it is the size of the golf cart. It would be extremely expensive.
Instead, get a better battery than the junk sold by Amazon.

The easy, cheap, and really inferior work-around will be to limit the control signal so that the motor does not work that hard.
The other responses are correct, although if you added a high power supercapacitor across the battery that could work. But by "high power" I mean like the ones used for cranking engines. They will probably cost more than using a better battery, but they will not wear out like a battery.
