Conservation of momentum saved those fool because of an offset hit. The cheap car rotated with the hit, converting a large amount of linear velocity into rotational energy dissipated by flying parts and deformed metal with the fools near the middle of the rotating mass.

Yes. And the tree behaved purely elastic. It returned all the energy imparted by the car back to the car.

That's why we have airbags as standard equipment. You neck will snap when there is a difference in velocity between the bodies mass and the head with your neck as the fulcrum. The airbag equalizes differences by opposite forces and dissipation.

And yet we still overlook the obvious. They run and think somehow "I" will get away, I'll be the lucky one.
If I were the Governor of any state I would put out a commercial on TV showing all these runners getting what they deserve and adding a new label of crime "Endangering the welfare of the community" and adding 10 years to the end of the sentence.

I've always wondered at the "language" used by the people on the ground orienting the pilots on how to maneuver their aircraft.

An Airbus A330-200 (F-GZCK) Air France is grounded at A. Agostinho-Neto International Airport, Pointe-Noire, Congo with bullet holes in its fuselage. Shots have been fired on this A330 upon landing at PNR on April 11th. It was supposed to bring back 100 French citizens. A team of technicians has been sent to PNR on-board a Boeing 777, flight AF380V.

That's a possibility.

It looked like the first error was over-rotation, which caused the tail to hit. Rather than dropping the nose to fly off the ground, the pilot retracted the gear. Enough pressure might have been off the gear to unlock it and allow retraction to start.* Whether the subsequent nose drop to reduce the AoA was intentional or due to an aerodynamic stall, I can't tell from the video. The sequence could be: over rotate, retract gear (error), stall warning, drop nose... I tried to find a source for the video and did not recognize the tail insignia.

*Retracting gear can actually increase drag and cause a stall.
