Today one of my friend brought a device. When he press the button near bulb. Bulb started to glow. Then when came near and pressed the button again near my mobile and my mobile went blank with white background. When I removed the battery and put it back, mobile came back to work.
I want to know what device is that?

 

You haven't given us much to go on. My first thought would be appropriate magic.

 

No it is not magic. That device running with 3 lithium 3.7v batteries. And it had big coil in front.

 

Why don't you ask your friend?

 

He told the name but was not sure. Some emiv something like that. He himself don't know. He actually wanted me change the batteries for him. I tried it also. It works great. I will call and find about it again.

 

Sounds like an EMP device (Electro-Magnetic Pulse). Never heard of them causing bulbs to glow though, unless they're CFL or Fluorescent.
