Fuji Electric AH30-SAA10001000 Joystick Specs

Hi guys,

I want to use a joystick connected to PLC to control the movement of a linear slide actuator lead screw type. Let say a two position joystick: when I switch upwards, the actuator slides left, when I switch downwards, the actuator slides right.

I'm assuming the connection as follows:
Joystick>A1SX40-S1
A1SY10>Stepper Driver>NEMA 23 Stepper motor

A1SX40 has rated input voltage and rated current of 24VDC and 7mA respectively.
A1SY10 has rated voltage of 24VDC, 2A

I found a FE joystick model as stated in the title (AH30-SAA10001000) which is discontinued on 2004. I couldn't find anything about its specifications on the net including FE's own website.

I do not understand the spec written on the stick. The spec sticker attached is a bit blurry after zoomed in, my apologies. The spec says:

*LEFT* *RIGHT*
AH30-SAA10001000
Ui 250V / Ith 5A JIS
Ue 220V/ Ie 1A AC13 143 5A / 250VAC
Ue 24V / Ie 1A DC14 143 0.2A / 125VDC

Can anyone help to explain the specs? Which voltage and current rating should I refer and compare to A1SX40-S1?

Thank you for your reply. My problem is that I do not understand the multiple voltage and current ratings stated on the sticker such as Ui, Ith, etc. I do not know which rating I should refer to, as my plc has rated input voltage of 24VDC and 2A.

Common joystick, they come in both four way or two way momentary switches, centre off.
Which is what you need for a simple sink type PLC digital input.
The current is very low for the opto input.
IOW that switch is totally adequate for what you are using it for.

Nearly any switch will work for the control you are trying to do. The ratings are far more than you need, so you can ignore them, as @MaxHeadRoom has said.

NO-NC interlocking means that if one is operated the other, N.C., circuit is capable of defeating the other function, although, in most cases/circuits this is automatic with a two way Joystick.
Each side has a NO & NC contact pair.
Otherwise it is identical to the original one posted.
Edit: Looks like different features from the sheet.
You can also get Idec simple Joystick as your first post.

@Sp@ceR Also keep in mind that with a PLC, a simple N.C. or N.O. switch once input can be used as many times as you wish in all forms of logic, e.g. OR, NOR, AND, NAND, etc.
