I wanted to know if I am doing the Math Right to find out what Amps are in every Foot of an LED Strip I have?

The LED Strip Length is 16.4 Feet.
The LED Strip is Rated 3.4 Watts Per Foot.
The LED Strip is Rated at 12 Volts.

So if I use the PIE Formula like this will I not find how many Amps are in every Foot?

3.4 Divided by 12 = 0.283333333 Amps.

Is this how many Amps are in the Whole 16.4 Foot LED Strip?

Watts = volts × amps -->

amps = watts / volts (this part you got)

amps = 3.4/12 = 0.28

But the rating is in watts per foot

So the strip draws 0.28 amps per foot

So the entire strip draws

0.28 amps/foot × 16.4 feet = 4.6 amps.
