Hello:
I did a small video series on designing an all discrete transistor circuit project.
Its a prototype experimental design, at a small level to test a concept for a larger project.
The larger project is a motor speed controle, that I can design and build on my own, with torque controle, for my 7x10 mini lathe.
In this mini video series, I'm using a toy 6 volt motor to try out a proof of concept, for my design.
I show in this series of videos, how I start out with building the common transistor series feedback voltage regulator, then from there I explain each step of the way, what modifications need to be made on it, and the calculations needed to make component changes to it, then I build and test each added modification, making sure all the voltage measurements are close to calculated values, until I come up with a satisfactory circuit that works as expected, for my version of a torque controle circuit.
My Disclaimer:
This again is one of my electronics design videos, that approaches transistor circuit design from a (simple HOBBY level only), NONproffessional, simplistic playing around with transistor circuits.
These videos are mainly geared towards the hobby person who is not serious about transistor circuit design as a proffession, but would just like to make some fun and interesting transistor projects.
If your interested in this kind of stuff, here is the link to this series of videos I made.

Enjoy...
