I have a 6 W fluorescent tube and want a fluorescent electronic ballast circuit. Please suggest a low cost one without coils.

What supply voltage? If mains voltage, cheapest is probably to cannibalise a CFL.

 

MAXIM usually make these types of IC 's or semis for this application, together with typical design sheets.

There may be some changes for 6W tube.

 

The circuit above drives the lamp with DC. That shorten its life .
