Can someone guide me regarding connecting this cable to the connector

I have sharpened up your image.
If it was my repair, I would remove the flat cable and replace with regular wire, back soldered on those two connectors.

There are two common types. On one the white part of the connector lifts up, then you can insert or emove the cable, then push the white bit back down. On the other sort, the white part pulls out (downwards in your photo), then insert or remove the cable, then push the white bit back into connector.
