Just installed FF 57.0 on Win7-64. Way faster, much snappier than 56.xx which had gotten slow to the point that I was ready to junk it.

AdBlock Plus works on it, updated user interface too.

Check it out if you are using old versions of FF.

 

Firefox 57 working well for me! UBlock Origin working too. Could not use the web anymore without a decent Ad Block.

 

I didn't even realize I was upgraded. Really not seeing any difference from previous version. Adblock still stinks for most sites imho. They are getting too smart at detecting ad blockers.

 

I noticed a big difference. I don't think FF has ever been this fast. I had been giving my VPN slow speed reports.....but I see now a lot of it was FF.

Me too. The last few updates were really slow. I was drilling down into the speed issues, too. Better!

 

NoScript was disabled by this FF update. I'm waiting for a suitable safe add-on to replace it.
