Hello Again,


Im having an issue working with a FSM with 2 inputs, D and N in this case. I created my table but do not know how to map the inputs of the d-type Flip flop to D, N and the current states (y2 and y1). Please see below. The solution manual has the inputs of the flip-flops in terms of D, N and the states which leads me to confusion.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the given state diagram is in the bottom right corner.

Thank you, it seems the AAC guide uses a different approach to making the state table then my text. To avoid confusing myself I'll email my professor this question as he did a similar problem in class. Thank you for your reply georacer.
