I just have a quick question on some problems i have.
The question that i was given was to find the frequency with each given angular velocity...
A) 60 rads/s
B) 360 rads/s

The equation that i saw that i could use is ω=2∏f ...solving for f i get

f=(ω/2∏)

Do i have to convert the radians to degrees before putting them into the equation or leave them as is?

 

you need to have it in rads/second.

I suppose you could have it in degrees/second but then the formula would be 360*f not 2*pi*f

If you are given the angular velocity in radians/sec, then divide by 2*PI to get hertz. If you are given the angular velocity in degrees/sec, then divide 360 to get hertz.
