Lol! No, i am not sure....lol. To be honest, though, this will probably only be a five minute test anyway (maybe one-second!) so don't worry. This will only be attached to at most a 3v battery and maybe 1.5v. I am sure once it doesn't work I will forget it and just put a regular loopstick on it....or indeed a small telescoping antenna. This was just a thought when i spotted them and i wondered if anyone else had ever tried it. I guess i am the only weird one...lol! Many thanks for your constructive and explanatory reply.
