Welcome to AAC.I noticed that my Samsung charger outputs 9v at 1.25A while charging my mobile.
Is this correct/OK?
Its the original charger that came with the phone. Samsung A21View attachment 273666
No, it uses USB and negotiates the voltage. It's just another proprietary fast charge scheme that was finally obsoleted by USB C PD.Probably the charging connector is not a USB type connector.
Prior to most adopting the USB connection every brand wanted their charging connectors to be different and non-compatible with any others. So all at once 5 volts is it. Prior to that none were 5 volts.
Yes it is, as Ya'akov Explains. The unit should have in five print EP-TA20 Input 100 - 240 VAC 50~60 Hz, Output 9 VDC 1.67 Amp or 5 VDC 2.0 amp. Your phone uses the newer USB C PD connector. The phone, as mentioned, negotiates the voltage. Good phone and charger. If I were you I would get a few extra charging cables for the phone.I noticed that my Samsung charger outputs 9v at 1.25A while charging my mobile.
