Isn't there a more direct way of doing that without having to bring it to the attention of other members?Obviously all members have a free choice of action when they encounter a problem on the AAC site, but I am sure that Administration would appreciate being advised, it is possible Admin may not be aware of the problem.
dl324 o/c u could PM member of Admin staff but since most site problems have potential 2 effect other users I say reports belong in publicIsn't there a more direct way of doing that without having to bring it to the attention of other members?
You can't do that if you can't connect and I'm not sure I'd want hundreds of messages telling me that the website was down when I was trying to fix the problem. Staff must have a way to contact @jrap when the forum is down.dl324 o/c u could PM member of Admin staff but since most site problems have potential 2 effect other users I say reports belong in public!
dl324 you are totally right abt thatWhat's the point of saying "o/c u" instead of "of course you"? This isn't a text message or a tweet...
dl324 if they already know what's going on they can just disregard thread so it's no distraction at all! But if solving problem is still in _troubleshooting phase_ multiple reports can totally help finding _common denominator_ if it's limited problem (which is most common)I'm not sure I'd want hundreds of messages telling me that the website was down when I was trying to fix the problem.
