Hi,
I am trying to interface EPCS4 serial eeprom to 8 bit MCU. I am facing a problem in read and write or any kind of instruction used to communicate with the eeprom. None of the instructions seem to work. The logic is pretty simple but it is not working.

How have you connected the EEPROM? A schematic would help.

What kind of Vcc are you using? The EEPROM data sheet says 4 volts is the absolute max - http://www.datasheetarchive.com/EPCS4-datasheet.html.

 

Which "Clock" on the uC are you connecting the EPCS4 to?
