they used to do a minor modification to the curcuit board that removed the transponder curcuit.
For these you do not remove anything in the circuit. You only need to edit the data found in IC900. A 93C56 fairchild soic-8 eeprom. So I will ask again, Are you or your mechanic capable of reading and writing this eeprom? Can you supply your actual ecu part number? At worst you could just put a virgin file on it then just reprogram your key.

If the ecu has the immobilizer as active then you would have no spark/fuel. Some toyota/lexus ecus allow the starter signal still and some do not.

I can't read or write the eprom but I will ask my mechanic and my auto electrician if they can. I am going to connect a LED into the ecu plug to give me a signal if the immobiliser/transducer is active or not. I believe it connects into pin #3 in the 26pin plug. Right now I do not have a tell tale light to know if it is functional or not.

My ecu is an 1UZFE Denzo ?9661 50450 (not sure of the first letter as the tag is damaged) It has six plugs. Five grouped together and one separated. ( 31pin 24pin 17pin 28pin 22pin ) 26pin. I believe the #3 pin on the 26pin plug is the tell tale light for the immobiliser.

I will try and take some pictures.

For those of us in NA, what is an auto box? Can you post pictures of the circuit board in the ECU? Nice closeup pictures so we can see part numbers?
Sorry I was refering to an automatic gearbox. There is a plug on the selector that I believe gives a signal to say the gearbox is in neutral or park position and will not allow the motor to start in any other gear selector position. This is not wired up right now. I will try and get some pictures done.

This need to be hooked up or spoofed into thinking(usually grounded) its in P or N or the starter will not engage.

Attached is a wiring diagram for a 1uzfe. Its from a Lexus SCxxx but you can use it for the pinout at least.
The pin for immo light I think sends out about 3V if remember correctly. The LED will work fine just keep in mind, the ecu sends the + and you need to supply the -
With the light hooked up and the key near the transponder amplifier all you need to do is ground upload_2019-9-16_12-11-25.png (or just insert your key in ignition if this is already hooked up) and the light should extinguish.

Normal security light operation:
No key inserted = Slow Flashing
Bad key inserted = Fast flashing
Bad/No key with ignition on = fast flashing
Accepted master key inserted (not turned) = Light off
Accepted valet key inserted (not turned) = Light solid for 2-3 seconds then goes out.
Accepted key inserted and turned = light off
Cranking but fails to start = light may start flashing until ignition is turned off & back on. (normal for programmed keys)

A solid light = the immobilizer system is in learn mode
