Email Notifications Not Showing Up?

Go figure, I doubt this is a coincidence. I ended up getting into the security settings for the account I use with AAC and told it to place what it sees as junk mail to the inbox folder. I forget as I used something I found online. That is about what it came down to and while it did work I will likely stay with Outlook as an email client.

Most mail services start counting email "spam" if you keep ignoring messages from a particular domain. If you regularly deleting emails from a particular domain without opening, my company email service was automatically deleting them for you.

Make sure you read and treasure your AAC emails.

Well after a few good months I am back to not getting notifications. I have tried using both Mozilla Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook over the past fer days with no luck. Nothing in spam folders, junk email folders or anywhere? Maybe I'll change email addresses again.

My e-mail notifications abruptly ceased on Sunday. I've checked all my settings at both ends and run tests of the e-mail address and everything looks fine.

@jrap: Could you look into this some more.

Nice to know I am in good company. :) I am also hesitant to change my email address in my forum profile as if I do that and do not get the change confirmation email I will be screwed.

Hello,

I do not use the email notification, but the issue should be looked at by @jrap
He can have a look at server that is running the forum.

Yay, as of a few minuets ago I had a notification show up. I changed nothing on my end. Additionally the email notification shows up in both email clients I use, Mozilla Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook. Hopefully this will continue. :)

I started receiving e-mail notifications about 9:30 am (MST), so roughly when you did. Pretty evident that it was a server issue of some kind.
