Hi

Are you sure of your terminology? Usually, one only finds depletion regions in transistors and other semiconductors. Unless you're talking about a spot in the frequency band unusually heavily populated with talk radio stations?

Agreed. Depletion region in FM radio doesn't make sense :huh:

You know, that did actually cross my mind when I read this question! There is a reference to 'Transistor Radio' in Van Morrison's song Brown Eyed Girl :D

Freddy Cannon? Nope. It was old the second time I heard it. But Sony had just put out the first transistor radio, which was the impetus for the song.

Ok :)

Its just that Transistor Sister was a hit for Freddy Cannon in the 60's (or was that the 50's), I'm not that old that I remember!! :D
